Summer Camp

Aug 11 - Aug 15th @ NJCU Gym

New for Summer 2025, join Beast Coast Basketball for one action packed week of camp. Hosted at NJCU, campers will work to develop their individual skills such as ball-handling & shooting, as well compete in game scenario drills and in team scrimmages that'll enhance their basketball IQ and grow their love for the sport. 

  • Welcome to All Players Ages 7-14yrs old 

  • Individual Skills Training (Mornings) & Competitive Team Games (Afternoons)

  • All Day Camp running from 9:00am - 4:30pm

All camp activities will take place on indoor basketball courts at the JMAC (John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center) at NJCU campus located at 110 Culver Ave, Jersey City.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Beast Coast Basketball Summer Camp 2025 Program is designed to be a fun and competitive environment designed for players of all levels to improve their game. Morning individual skills training sessions lead into competitive game-like scenarios, which lead into afternoon team competition sessions.

Individual Skills Sessions

These sessions emphasize essential basketball fundamentals such as ball handling, shooting

form, defensive positioning, passing, cutting, rebounding, and more. Campers of all skill levels

will benefit from focused training that aims to build a strong foundation for their game.

Competitive Game Scenarios

These sessions emphasize developing a healthy competitive attitude, preparing for game-like situations, and practicing offensive and defensive skills in competitive drills and challenges.

Team Competition Sessions

These sessions emphasize team competition, helping players learn to play selfless basketball, space the floor, apply offensive and defensive pressure on the court, and WIN as a team versus as an individual.

Camper packing checklist

- Athletic clothing

- Basketball shoes or sneakers

- Water bottle with name written on it

- Packed lunch & snacks for each day (2 snack breaks & 1 lunch break per day)

- A small bag or backpack for personal items

Transportion

Beast Coast Basketball does not provide transportation to or from camp. Please plan accordingly to ensure timely drop-off and pick-up from the gym.

Medical Support

Coach Peyton Kay is CPR/First-AID certified and will be on-site to assist with injuries or any medical concerns during the entirety of the camp session. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest medical facility.

Cancelation Policy

Should you need to cancel your registration, you may do so via email up to 24 hours before the start of camp and receive a credit voucher for future camps/clinics (minus the cost of insurance that is pre-purchased for camp week). No-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the camp start date are not eligible for a refund.
